EXPORTATION VERS LES USA : PRODUITS D’ACIER & ALUMINIUM ASSUJETIE À LA SECTION 232 DES DOUANES AMERICAINES
 

Le 15 aout 2025, le Service des douanes et de la protection des frontières des États-Unis (CBP) a publié le CSMS 65936570 et CSMS 65936615 pour mettre à jour les liste de codes Hs visé par les sucharges sur l’acier et l’aluminium 

À compter du 18 aout 2025, les produits ajouter seront sujet à la surcharge de 50% (voir 200% si le pays de fonte et coulé est inconnu)
 
Pour chaque envoi assujetti à l’article 232, les renseignements ci-dessous sont obligatoires et doivent figurer sur la facture commerciale.

 

Pour chaque arrêt d’expédition à la frontière en raison d’informations manquantes, des frais de manutention supplémentaires de 75,00 USD seront applicables. Pour chaque expédition ou pièce pour laquelle l’exportateur n’est pas en mesure de fournir le pays d’éperlan, des droits de douane de 200% s’appliqueront

On Friday, June 13, 2025, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) issued CSMS # 65340246 to provide updated guidance on how to report the country of smelt and cast on derivative aluminum imports when the product is subject to Section 232 aluminum measures, but the importer does not know the country of smelt and cast.

Effective June 28, 2025, for imports of derivative aluminum subject to Section 232 measures, if importers do not know the country of smelt and/or cast then the importers should report “unknown” instead of the current reporting of the country of export. When reporting “unknown”, importers will be required to report HTS 9903.85.67 or 9903.85.68, as applicable, and will be assessed the 200 percent Section 232 duties on imports of aluminum

For every shipment that is subject to Section 232, the below information’s are mandatory and need to appear on the commercial invoice.

 

For every shipment stop at the border due to missing information, additional handling fees of USD 75.00 will be applicable. For every shipment/parts where the exporter is unable to provide the country of smelt and cast, 200 % duty will be applicable
